Virtual Work Reality

We understand what a challenging time it has been for secondary schools and that due to Covid-19 schools are not able to run their usual career events or work experience programs.

As a result, Gateway LLEN has developed the following suite of virtual programs for secondary schools in our region:

  • New Work Bites – a podcast series hosted by Jan Owen providing students, educators and parents with leading edge insights on the new work order
  • Masterclasses – a series of Masterclasses mapped to VCAL and the Victorian Careers Curriculum Framework.  Includes videos and classroom activities for students to have a similar experience to in-person courses.
  • Career interviews – a series of inspiring short videos where interviewees talk about their work and career journeys
  • Industry speaker bank – local industry professionals that can be booked to deliver Live Q&A chats online
