The Challenge
The partnership theme was derived from school consultation where:
- 73% of survey respondents indicated specific interest in careers and pathways
- 59% in expos and industry events
- 50% in mentors/industry professionals
This industry immersion/SWL program is for Year 10, 11 and 12 students, providing with them the opportunity to connect with local employers, learn about occupations and practice interview techniques.

The Result
This industry immersion/SWL program is an ongoing partnership between Gateway LLEN and Manningham Council deigned for Year 10, 11 and 12 students, and providing with them the opportunity to connect with local employers, learn about occupations and practice interview techniques.
In 2022 the event was run onsite at Manningham Council function rooms and hosted over 120 students and 30 local employers.
